David is happily settling in as our new Clerk and is relishing the challenges that come with running The French Hospital.

After leaving the Army David worked as a professional mountaineer instructing, leading expeditions and climbing in Scotland, the Andes, Alps, Himalayas and Hindu Kush.  He then worked in television as a Producer/Director, filming the fighting in Afghanistan, Iraq and Yemen as well as making arts, adventure and history films for the BBC, Channel 4 and Discovery.  

He is now working part-time as Clerk of The French Hospital to spend more time at home with his family and dogs.
