The French Hospital charity celebrated its 304th Anniversary in style on Saturday with an Evensong service in Rochester Cathedral and Street party in the square at La Providence. The weather was wonderful and Special guests, Trustees, Staff, Residents and Supporters came together for the party to mark the occasion. The charity also marked the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with a tree-planting ceremony by Lord Richard Chartres and Emma, Lady Monson. Guests including the Mayor of Medway Jan Aldous and celebrity supporter Len Goodman who all took part in the activities including afternoon tea and joined in with the singing from the Red, White and Blue Band.
