Many of The French Hospital residents choose to join in a variety of social activities including coffee mornings, lunches, fitness classes, quiz nights and outings.

The Common Room is a space that is available to all residents of The French Hospital and there are tables, chairs and a small kitchen. Our residents hold a weekly coffee morning, regular parties and social events, and the Common Room is also available for private functions with their families or friends. There are wide variety of events taking place each month, including fitness classes, darts and educational opportunities. A monthly lunch is organised by the Residents’ Lunch Club and each summer a garden party is organised by the Residents’ Social Committee.

Every Wednesday, our Chaplain provides a Communion Service in the Common Room and any resident is welcome to attend.

Here at The French Hospital, we understand the importance of bringing everyone together during the festive period and our staff organise a special Christmas lunch for all residents. It’s a wonderful way to share the joys of the holiday season with each other.
