Meet the team

Catherine Parker
Clerk
Catherine joined The French Hospital as Clerk in August 2021. In her first career in international commercial banking she led financing teams for large infrastructure and renewable energy projects. After a brief career-break she retrained in grant-making, fundraising and charity management and has worked with a number of charitable and non-profit organisations in London and Kent for over 12 years. Before joining the team at The French Hospital she was CEO of Kent’s Credit Union, Kent Savers. Catherine has enjoyed renovating several period family houses over the years, and was interested to take responsibility in maintaining and updating the historic listed properties at La Providence. She is also keen to ensure the charity and its residents contribute and benefit as much as possible in the local thriving Rochester High Street community. But her primary job satisfaction comes from leading the Charity in its aim to continually enhance the housing and welfare provision, to ensure the residents enjoy a safe and nurturing home environment.

Natalie Tegg
Natalie has recently joined the French Hospital as Head of Community Engagement & Deputy Clerk. She has over 20 years in the charity sector, and a degree in Business Studies. Natalie lives in Rochester, and has a keen interest in History and this is what appealed about the French Hospital, as well as its strong ethos on welfare. The charity’s vision to provide independent living and a sense of community whilst tackling social isolation and loneliness is important to her, and is an integral part of her job role. Natalie loves travelling, visiting historic places of interest, outdoor swimming, reading, theatre and seeing live music.

Jon Corrigan
Steward
Jon has worked in the civil engineering and construction industry for most of his life and has travelled to over thirty countries during the past 30 years. During Jon’s twenty years at Pirelli Construction he oversaw civil, electrical and hydraulic works associated with power projects around the world, including the Middle East, Spain, Hong Kong, Bangladesh, Dubai, Singapore, Malaysia and the US. Jon is responsible for the day-to-day running of The French Hospital, overseeing our maintenance programme, and leading our dedicated team of Deputy Stewards who provide 24 hour assistance for our residents should they need it. Originally from Rochester, Jon joined The French Hospital in 2011 when he and his wife Sue wanted to live closer to their children and grandchildren. Jon feels very fortunate to work in such a historic environment and to be able to make a different in the lives of our residents. Jon still enjoys travelling and is at his happiest with his children and grandchildren around him.
